Kitale DU WWA members lead a crowd to celebrate IWD Global Centenary. Over one thousand mostly Pokot men and women assembled in Chepkobe-Chepararia – West Pokot (Kitale DU) for entertainment was in form of drama, poems and dances highlighting effects of FGM thus encouraging the audience to shun the practice.
The turn up was impressive. Pupils of Chepkob mixed Primary School and students of St. Augustine Boys Secondary School as well as Kacheliba women’s group entertained the audience.
